About
Crockery Township operates a full-time/part-paid Fire Department, staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Our part-paid personnel respond from their homes or workplace to support and assist the full-time staff. The Fire Department comprises 17 members, 4 being full-time.
The station is equipped with 2 engines, two water tankers, a heavy rescue vehicle, 2 medical vehicles, and 3 wildland vehicles. Additionally, 2 of the wildland vehicles are provided by the Department of Natural Resources(DNR) on a permanent loan for whildfire suppression. In spring 2022, a brand-new custom fire engine was delivered to replace a unit that the Township has owned since 1995.
